very good not excellant

This reverts to the stile of the Alice and Captives of Cheyner Close with a rather entertaining robot rape to start. Some good humor and erotica. Not as well written as the Alice books though. Some BDSM, Ds and MS as well a F/F erotica.

A very good read if you like this kind of thing.

Well-written and thorough

I have Peter Smid's CNC Programming Handbook (which I highly suggest). I almost bought Smid's Macro programming book before I saw this. This book is $20-30 cheaper than Smid's book, and I am quite impressed with it. The description's table of contents is accurate; it covers a lot of useful topics. The explanations of the basics of macro programming are very clear. As long as you have experience with general CNC programming, you can follow the explanations. It does help to have previous computer programming experience, though. There are multiple chapters dedicated to applications of macro programming with plenty of examples. There are also a lot of very good programming tips throughout the book that will save new programmers some hassle debugging programs.

The book focuses on Fanuc controls (the Fanuc 0i, in particular). However, the shop I work for uses Haas machines, and I have found that Haas's implementation of macros is quite standard. The mapping of system variables matches very closely to the book's description.

Excellent source of education on macros

There is absolutely no wasted space in the 200+ pages here. Covers mostly everything, and gives you an understanding of the macro concept well enough to continue developing your understanding on your own. Since reading I have devised 2 practical macro applications in the shop I work in. It is necessary to be familiar with the cnc process already and the codes that accompany the process, but once you are this book expands your knowledge well beyond that of your peers. Some subjects are rather complex that relate to more advanced features of macros (communicating with external devices, PLC's and the like) but that gives you an idea of where to go after mastering the macro language.

This covers a lot of introductory aspects of macro programming like construction, and how to layout code, and defines the characters and functions well as advanced stuff. I bought this book because I recently got a job that uses macros. the only thing I did not like about the book is the lack simplicity and understanding of some of the examples. I just found they didn't dumb it down enough for the new guys or i would have given 4 stars. i think it is a must have for reference with macro programming.

A truly sensual book

I was so entertained by this book that I wanted to share my happiness. Anyone who has read my reviews knows it is not easy to get a 5 star from me. If you love a great story line, oodles of smushy light BDSM sex, and good supporting characters, I highly recommend this book. That being said, I also read the reviews before I purchased this book. One reviewer is obviously Promoting another Author's work to drive readers to her favorite Author. I am certain the Author is grateful for the promo, but this review is walking a very fine line. To tear one Author down to promote another shows a lack of integrity. I am certain the book that was mentioned and Author that was mentioned are good. I had planned to buy the book. I still might at some future date. Not until the nasty taste of this review has left my mouth.

WOW!!! now THIS! is one wonderful beginning to a new series!!!

This book had me so freakin hot I was a melting pot! Jameson & Trev were absolutely scrummy alpha studly males...LOVED the camaraderie between Kit(Heroine) & Libby(her Human BFF)..Granny Rose was fabulous LOVED her..I dont want to give away any spoilers other than these names..the waiting for the next book is going to kill me I swear I dunno why I love series so much considering my nails always look like a cheese grater got ahold of them by the time the next book comes out...specially werewolves they are my weakness..

Read this book if you LOVE Erotic werewolf tales of Love..add in uber powerful witches & a evil darkness that follows in the shadows..you got my favorite combo!

Definitely recommend this book for everyone ;)

Loved this book from beginning to end. Yes, the end leaves things wide open, and with that I am assuming Ms. Gale is planning on future books. She took her time to capture her audience up in her version of the shifter world, and when you are writing a new series and creating a world of your own, that always takes time. I believe book two will have more action in it and answer many questions left unanswered at the end of this book.

That being said, this book is scorching hot!!!! Sex scenes are very hot, but no heavy bdsm, which I personally love. Yes, I would def. recommend this book! Very good read! Good plot lines, great primary & secondary characters, and great sex...what more could you ask for?

About the Author
William David Barry, historian, writer, exhibition curator, and native New Englander, has written or co-authored books with a local focus ranging in topic from the Colonial mast trade, to the care of orphans in Maine institutions, L.L. Bean, Inc., the early HIV/AIDS crisis in Maine, and the lost city of Deering, Maine. In 1983 he collaborated with life-long friend Randolph Dominic on the historical novel Pyrrhus Venture (Atlantic Monthly Little Brown). He has written essays and reviews for Down East Magazine, Portland Magazine, Magazine Antiques, Art New England, and the Maine Sunday Telegram, and guest-curated over a dozen exhibitions for organizations including the University of Southern Maine, New Hampshire Historical Society, Barridoff Galleries, and the Brick Store Museum. In his spare time he co-authored monographs of architectural interest for the Maine Historic Preservation Commission and of business successes for the Newcomen Society. In 2005 the Trustees of the Maine Historical Society awarded Barry the prestigious Neal Allen, Jr., Award for outstanding contributions to the field of Maine history. In tandem with his freelance career Barry has worked as a reference librarian at the Portland Public Library and since 1994 at the Maine Historical Society's Brown Library. He lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife and amanuensis, Debra, and an elderly cat, Keegan.

A concise, dramatic yet lighthearted narrative full of great facts and interesting stories about the 23rd state. An excellent read even for those who think they know everything about the history of Maine.

A Great Surprise

When I bought this book I assumed I would get a little bored with it, but I wanted to read it anyway to learn more about my own state. I was in for a great surprise! This is one of the best books about Maine I have ever read. It is interesting from beginning to end. Also it is such an easy, enjoyable read that I hated to put it down.The art and photographs are a pleasurable added bonus. I just had to buy a second copy to send to my close friends in Texas who are from Maine.
